A Lifetime on These Waters
Captain Frank Mastriacovo was raised in Palm Coast and started fishing these waters at just five years old. At thirteen, he got his first boat, beginning a lifelong connection with the waterways of Flagler, Volusia and St. Johns counties.
Over the years, fishing and boating became more than a pastime. They became a way of learning the waterways—where the channels run, where the shallow water gives way to deeper currents, where wildlife gathers and how changing tides and weather can transform the experience from one day to the next.
Today, Captain Frank brings that experience to Hidden Waterways Charters, sharing the places and experiences that have kept him coming back to the water for most of his life.
Why Hidden Waterways?
There is something special about experiencing the coast from the water. Beyond the familiar shorelines and busy waterways are quiet marshes, winding creeks, wildlife-rich shallows and places that many people never get to see.
Hidden Waterways was created to share those experiences with people who want more than just a boat ride. Whether you're visiting the area, spending time with family or simply looking for a different way to experience the coast, our goal is to show you the places, wildlife and stories that make these waterways unique.
Every trip is an opportunity to slow down, explore and see the coast from a different perspective.
Our Approach

Safety comes first. Every trip begins with the responsibility of getting our guests out on the water and back safely. As a licensed OUPV captain, Captain Frank takes the conditions, the vessel and the people aboard seriously.
We respect the waterways. The marshes, creeks and coastal waters we explore are home to an incredible variety of wildlife. We believe enjoying these places comes with a responsibility to protect them. We observe wildlife respectfully, avoid unnecessary disturbance and leave the waterways as we found them.
The experience matters. We don't believe every trip needs to follow the same script. Sometimes the best moments happen when we slow down, explore a little farther or stop to watch something unexpected. Our goal is to create memorable experiences that feel personal, relaxed and connected to the place we're exploring.

East Cape Lostmen
Built for shallow-water exploration and serious fishing, the East Cape Lostmen gives us the ability to reach places larger boats simply can't. It's a specialized platform for anglers and adventures that take us into the skinny water.
